Ritual Zero Proof debuts
non-alcoholic tequila

CHICAGO - Ritual Zero Proof is introducing Tequila Alternative, a non-alcoholic
blend of botanicals featuring a flavor

profile inspired by traditional tequila.
Ritual's Tequila Alternative has a golden
hue, a blue agave aroma and notes of
tropical guava, mellow spices, smoke,
green bell pepper, Mexican lime and a
touch of sea salt.

Nestle launches Life Cuisine
frozen entree brand
VEVEY, SWITZERLAND - Nestle SA is launching Life Cuisine, a line of frozen bowls, egg bites
and pizzas that cater to four consumer preferences: high-protein, low-carb, meatless
and gluten-free.
The high-protein offerings provide 20 to 25 grams of protein and varieties include
Korean-style barbecue beef, Greekstyle chicken, chicken enchilada, and
beef and chorizo taco.
The low-carb Life Cuisine
products contain 11 to 14 grams of
net carbs and include uncured turkey
bacon and aged white cheddar sous
vide egg bites; tomato and spinach
sous vide egg white bites; meat
lover's cauliflower pizza bowl, spicy
sausage and riced cauliflower bowl,
buffalo-style chicken and cauliflower
bowl, and creamy chicken and riced
cauliflower bowl.
The meatless options feature 10 to 20 grams of plant-based protein and include ricotta and spinach meatless meatballs pasta bowl, broccoli cake rice bowl, and Vermont
white cheddar mac and broccoli bowl.
The gluten-free offerings contain 18 grams of protein and include pepperoni cauliflower crust pizza and three-cheese cauliflower crust pizza. FBN

Co. adds plant-based
breakfast sausages

NEW YORK - The Meatless Farm Co. is
entering a new daypart with the debut of
plant-based breakfast sausage links and
patties.
Made with pea and rice protein and
colored with beetroot, radish and tomato,
both sausage varieties are vegan, soy-free,
gluten-free, made with non-GMO ingredients and certified kosher.
"Over the years, we have seen plenty
of innovation within the plant-based
protein space, but breakfast meats have
remained relatively untouched," said
Kasper Vesth, general manager for North
America at The Meatless Farm Co. "After
years of R&D, we are excited to show
people how easy - and delicious - it can
be to add a perfect plant-based protein to
their meatless mornings. As we continue
to grow in the US market, it is important
for us to ensure we're meeting the unique
needs of American consumers by making
it easy to incorporate more plant-based
options into their daily routines, whether
it's for their health or for the health of the

The Meatless Farm Co. plant-based
breakfast sausage links and patties are
available in the refrigerated section of
Whole Foods Market stores nationwide,
and the company said it plans to roll out
to additional retailers and foodservice
